Hello, young explorers! Have you ever wondered where your food comes from? Before fruits, vegetables, and grains reach your plate, they start as tiny seeds in a farm or a garden. In this course, we’ll learn how to grow our own food and become little farmers!
What is Farming? 🚜🌾
Farming is the way people grow food for us to eat. Farmers take care of plants, water them, and help them grow big and strong. They also take care of animals like cows and chickens. Without farmers, we wouldn’t have delicious fruits, vegetables, milk, and eggs!

Did you know that the first farmers started growing food 10,000 years ago? That’s older than the pyramids in Egypt!
Types of Farms 🌍
Farms come in different types. Here are a few:
🌽 Crop Farms – Grow fruits, vegetables, and grains like rice and wheat.
🐄 Animal Farms – Raise cows, chickens, goats, and sheep for milk, eggs, and wool.
🍯 Bee Farms – Keep bees that make honey and help pollinate flowers.
🌿 Organic Farms – Use natural ways to grow food without chemicals.
